How does the Pad Mate® work?
 
 

Apply the Pad Mate® directly onto the circuit board... the conductive contacts (the black circles - 7mm diameter) go between your device's bad keypad buttons and circuit board to restore conductivity.

 

Reassemble your device... and your bad buttons' conductivity is restored!

 

How do I install the Pad Mate®?

   
1. Pick a section of the Pad Mate®  that corresponds to a section of your circuit board's button contacts.
2. Cut off the portion you have selected.
3. Remove the Pad Mate's® paper backing to expose the 3M adhesive.
4. Apply the piece of Pad Mate® to the circuit board, adhesive side down... adhesive holds it onto the circuit board.
 
"What if I make a mistake and I don't line up a piece perfectly?"

Not a problem... just peel it up and reapply. The Pad Mate's adhesive holds the piece securely on the circuit board but allows for as many  re-do's as you need.
THE PAD MATE® CANNOT HARM YOUR DEVICE IN ANY WAY, and applying the strips to the circuit board is easy. However, skill may be required to properly open, disassemble and reassemble your electronic device. There is the risk of your causing damage (sometimes irreparable) if these steps are not done properly, including: damaging components with static discharge, cracking the board and breaking the plastic. If you discover that your device is defective after you install the Pad Mate, the problem is due to installer damage, not the Pad Mate. Even an improperly installed Pad Mate will not damage your handset.

Repeat these steps until every button contact on your circuit board is covered by a Pad Mate® conductive circle.
