Barclay Enterprises Acquires G&S Teletronics’ Repair Division

     Rick Barclay, president of Barclay Enterprises, Inc. (Colton, CA), has announced Barclay's acquisition of G&S Telectronics' telephone repair facility located in Riverside, California.

      “This is a perfect fit,” says Barclay. “We already repair all the brands G&S repairs, plus some. And, like G&S, we have nearly two decades of experience repairing and refurbishing telephone equipment… so we know we can keep their customers happy. We expect the transition to be seamless.”

     Gary Gresham, president of G&S Telectronics, says selling G&S's repair division was "a difficult decision but the right one." Over the past few years G&S has been developing other non-repair oriented businesses in the telecomm industry. "After much soul-searching," Gresham explains, "I decided that we couldn’t focus on all our ventures and do justice to the repair end of our business. So I decided that the best alternative was to put our repair division in the hands of someone else who could maintain the standards we’ve set for taking care of our customers. I know our customers will be in good hands with Barclay.”

     The acquisition is limited to G&S’s repair division only, including its repair customer base and certain equipment and inventory. Gresham will continue to own and operate G&S Teletronics, Inc., an authorized Avaya dealer.

     Barclay Enterprises, Inc. is a California corporation devoted exclusively to the repair and sale of telephones and telephone systems, serving customers nationwide from their facility located in Colton, California. Barclay has been an FCC Equipment Authorization System Grantee since 1989.
