Telephone e-waste, however, doesn't belong in
dumpsters and
landfills... and that's not where our e-waste
goes!
We dispose of all
electronic waste 100% in compliance with the California EPA and
California Department of Toxic Substance Control. And we
invite you to do the same through our FREE "T-Waste®

Send
us your "T-Waste"
®--- your old, unwanted telephones /
telephone equipment e-waste --- and we'll either recycle it or dispose
of it in compliance with the California EPA and California
Department of Toxic Substance Control.
There's no
charge for this service, but there are a few conditions:
- Limited
to "T-Waste"® ---- telephones and telephone
equipment and accessories only:

obtain a return authorization number (RA#) from us before
mailing / shipping us your unwanted equipment.

you have received an RA# and until the equipment has been
accepted at our receiving dock.

FAQ'S
Q:
What happens to the equipment I send you?
A: We either recycle it (remanufacture or scrap out for parts), or we
dispose of it through a professional recycler who is registered with
the California Environmental Protection Agency / Department of
Toxic Substances Control and is an approved recycler of e-waste by
the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB). Scrap
components are reduced to their essential elements for further
recycling (e.g., plastic and metal) towards the production of finished
goods. Any residual material is disposed of in strict compliance with California's Electronic Waste Recycling Act of 2003.
Q:
What's the process for getting my unwanted equipment to you?
A: Three easy steps!
- Request a
Return Authorization # (RA#) by
filling out a form on-line.
- Wait for us to
get back to you with an RA# (takes about four business hours).
- Box and ship or
mail your equipment to us. That's it!
Q: What's the
best way to get my equipment to you?
A: Since time isn't of the essence, go cheap. We suggest US
Mail parcel post.
Q: Is there a
charge for you to dispose of my equipment?
A: No charge to you! The lads in our cost accounting department tell
us we should charge something, and our lawyers think we're just plain
nuts for taking on a possible liability. But we're committed to doing
our part to help conserve the environment. If you're willing to pay
getting us your equipment, we're willing to pay to properly dispose of
it or put it to good use!
Q: Will you pay
me anything for my equipment?
A: Sorry, no. Any benefits we receive (e.g., useful scrap parts,
obsoleted phones for possible resale) are minor in value compared to
the cost of maintaining this program.
Q: Can I at least
write my "donation" off on my taxes?
A: Sorry, no. Even though you're giving us the equipment, Barclay
Enterprises is not a
charitable institution and thus any value would not be deductible.
